Capezio

Capezio - (Cunningham/Degellic) -- 2010 colt
When I started researching stallions for my mare I knew I wanted a proven champion with an impressive top line, expression, brain, plenty of jump, and the ability to improve conformation. The clear winner was Cunningham. With his incredible show record and the old German Holsteiner Grand Prix greats in his breeding the choice was simple.
Mary Slouka was more then accommodating for collection.
When Capezio arrived I was blown away. Cunningham had stamped the colt with his signature head, length of neck, step, and trainabilty. I've broke a lot of horses but this one was easy! There was no "breaking" or starting, it was more like finishing. By far the kindest horse I've ever sat on.
Last year when I decided to bred my favorite mare I put a lot of thought into what stallion would compliment her best and just couldn't find one that compared to Cunningham. He throws a style that improves even the fanciest mare. Yet again, Cunningham gave me a big colt that will be very competitive on the line.
Cunningham is without a doubt the best kept secret on the east coast. When horseman see his get they breed to him, and when they have a Cunningham foal they bred back.

Copy Cat

Copy Cat -- (Cunningham/Hope for Royality xx) -- 2011 filly
Copy Cat scored 7.9 overall at the September 2011 Oldenburg inspection at Newtown Farm in Benton, LA. She seemed to be the crowd favorite and had everyone oooh'ing, aahh'ing and laughing. The inspector had only good things to say about Copy Cat and raved about her balance and brain. She tied with a Rubignon colt for 2nd highest overall score of the inspection (7.9).
I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this filly! Copy Cat is everything I hoped for and more. She has a wonderful brain and working with her is almost always easy and fun. Copy Cat seems to have inherited Cunningham’s lovely, slow canter and lopes around the field when she is feeling frisky. Even in her gawky stages Copy Cat is balanced and elegant. I am excited to watch her continue to grow and mature and eventually be started under saddle. Copy Cat will hopefully be my future amateur hunter mount.
I was a first time breeder with an older TB mare that was a bit tricky to get in foal. Mary Slouka was kind, patient and helpful through all our correspondence.
Many thanks to Mary and Cunningham!
P.S. -- a blingy bay out of my chestnut mare was an added bonus!!

Ceasar P

Ceasar P -- (Cunningham/Ladamo/Le Santo/Lord) -- 2010 colt
Cunningham is a wonderful option for our Holsteiner stamm 162 mare. He is the whole package – genetics, type and performance!!
Many Holsteiner breeders probably have similar issues to us – we have a fabulous mare from a very productive branch of stamm 162, one of the best motherliness in the world; however, she is heavily linebred to Ladykiller and a bit old-fashioned. Trying to find a jumping stallion, available by fresh cooled semen, who brings minimal Ladykiller to the picture and modernizes has been nearly impossible to find…..and then we found Cunningham! Mary is super flexible and easy to work worth and the result has been phenomenal. Cunningham modernized our mare, adding length of leg, pretty face and a lovely, sloping shoulder. Our foal is a leggy, modern colt, with amazing conformation, much more elegant gaits than the dam and lots of bling! It’s a breeding we will, without doubt, be repeating.

Ciaran

Ciaran -- (Cunningham/North of Eden xx/Well Decorated xx) -- 2010 colt
With Dorothy's Cabin xx (Momma Mia), Cunningham brought his outstanding personality and sensibility. Momma Mia's foals tend to be a bit on the hot side and her Cunningham baby, Ciaran, is simple, loving and easy to handle but still has the gorgeous movement and athleticism I want.
I also believe Cunningham improves the legs of my mares. His foals have the most beautiful long legs, straight and strong. Especially in the case of my other mare, Uniqueka (Ariadus/xx), a regional sporthorse champion and ranked 3rd in nation for Holsteiners in hunter breeding. Her foal, Catan, was defintely an improvement in the canon bones, much longer! His personality was outstanding and his motivation and willingness to jump was spectacular even as a foal.
Overall I am very pleased with the quality and consistency I am getting from Cunningham and am looking forward to using him again!

Bridgette

Bridgette -- (Cunningham/Landgraf/Constant/Lagano)
We originally bought Bridgette as a resale prospect, but she quickly exceeded all our expectations, as well as stole our hearts. She's now a part of our family forever.
Purchased for her fantastic pedigree, Bridgette has exceeded all of our expectations. And, her superior intelligence and athleticism is perfect for Eventing. Our Trainer, who's competed Advanced on the International stage, believes she will shine as we climb the levels.
